Grosse Pointe Insurance Solutions

Boats & toys insurance. For days on the water and weekends away.

Lake days and weekends away start with plans. Tell Carly about your boat, personal watercraft, motorhome or trailer, where you use it and where it stays between trips. Your current policy and equipment details give the agency a useful starting point.

Your life, your details

Start with what matters to you.

The boat and the way you use it

Share the year, make, model, hull identification number and engine information you have. Mention where you navigate, who operates the boat, and whether you use it beyond recreation. Ask how the policy handles valuation, equipment and the activities you have planned.

Storage is part of the story

Describe your marina, trailering arrangements and off-season storage. Raise winter layup and any planned changes in use with Carly before making them. The policy’s navigation, storage and other conditions should be reviewed with the carrier.

Keep the details together

Our boat identification tool helps organize an HIN for your conversation. It does not establish ownership, condition or coverage. Send your findings and any policy documents with your request so Carly can continue the review.

A few common questions

Before you get started.

Where do I start if I do not know my HIN?

Share the boat details you do know. You can use the boat identification tool with an HIN when available, or ask Carly what information is needed.

Can I ask about a trailer or RV too?

Yes. Select Boat / RV and describe each unit, its use and where it is stored. Include any relevant current policies.

Is a tool result an insurance quote?

No. Tools provide information for discussion. Coverage, eligibility and pricing must be confirmed through the agency and carrier.

Coverage is subject to policy terms, limits, exclusions and eligibility. A request does not bind or change insurance.
